MAJOR-GENERAL EDWARDS.
[By Telegraph.] [from our correspondent.] WELLINGTON, August 6. Major General Edwards, who is now engaged in Australia enquiring into the efficiency of the colonial defence and military forces, arrives at the Bluff on September 9th, and will hold Volunteer parades at all the centres in New Zealand.
