ELECTRIC TRAMS.
[press association telegram.] DUNEDIN, August 6. Arrangements have almost been completed with the patentees of the electric tram on the portable accumulator system, for the running of electric trams from the Triangle along Crawford street to the Exhibition. These trams, car and motor together, will carry ninety passengers. It is the intention of the (.'ompany to run the cars both day and night, arrangements being in progress to light Crawford street from end to end with the alectrio light.
