Passengers—Misses Richard son (2), Johnston, Hitciiings, Higgins, Mesdames Stacey, Keeley and child, Harvey, Messrs Seager, Harvey, Mountfort, Spiers, Gordon, Galloway, Preston, Hinston, Campbell, Johnston (2), Linton, and Hamer. Arrived—s.so, Ringarooma, from Lyttelton. Timaru, August 6. Arrived—l.3o a.m., Grafton, from LyttelOamaru, August 6. Arrived—lnvercargill, from Lyttelton. Port Chalmers, August 6. Arrived—7.3o a.m., Rotomahana, from Melbourne; 9.20 a.m., Elderslioj from Timaru. The Union Company are overhauling all their big steamers, preparatory forthe expected Exhibition traffic. The Waihora has just been completed, and the Rotomahana is now to be laid up for three weeks, and to be followed by the Mararoa. The Tekapo comes next, and she will be altered so as to give accommodation for additional fifty passengers.
