INVERCARGILL, July 10. i The Wednesday half-holiday recently inaugurated here aud sanctioned by the Borough Council altering the half-holiday under the Employment of Females and Others Act from Saturday to that day, _s not givingunqualifled satisfaction. Fu—ta in mechanical trades still retain Saturday for adult, workers, and are compelled by theAct to send boys away, on Wednesday afternoons also.
