Monday, July 15. (Before C. A. Wray, Esq., K.M.) Civil Casks.—E. Valender rCE Eeidi claim £4 4s 10d; judgment by default for amount claimed and costs. Same v Parker, claim £1 17s ad, judgment summons. After taking evidence as to defendant's ability to pay, an order was made for the payment of 20j per .month, payments to be made in Geraldine. Official Assignee v Henry Drew, claim £12 9s 6d. Mr Aspinall appeared for the plaintiff. Defendant did not appear. J. Ashwell commission agent for the Deputy Official Assignee. He obtained judgment against defendant for £11 8s 6d. Costs had sines accrued amounting to 21s. Drew afterwards left the district, but had returned, and last season earned between £24 and £25 at a threshing mill. He could not say how long he had been earning the money. He was in regular work now, and was a single man with no encumbrances. An order was made for the payment of the amoant.forthwith, to default one month'a imprisonment. \
