RIFLE SHOOTING.
C.W.M.C. RIFLE CLASS. The third and last competition (handi cap), 500 yds range, for Mr W. S. King's trophy, took place on Saturday eveninpr, on the Morris tube range, in the hall of the Christchurch Working Men's Club. The conditions for the prize were—Highest aggregate scorer 200, 300, and 500 yards. Mr Scull proved the winner of the prize with an aggregate score of 9-'J points. W. iraacis .. .. 3i 23 23 81 This being the last competition provoked great interest among the members, a arge number being present, and between thirty and forty fired. The result of the match was very gratifying to the Rifle Class, the winner being one of the most energetic members. Arrangements are in progress fora competition on the ranee next Saturday with the Sydenham Bifle Corps.
