At the wool Bales the prices for New Zealand crossbreds ranged a halfpenny higher. Those eorts are in strong demand. Galvanised iron, Orb brand, J617; Black Horse salt, fine 33s 9<f; coarse 24s 6d. Splendid weather prevails at present, and the crops are ripening rapid] j. The yield is expected to be more abundant than last season. American reports also are favorable, and represent the quality as good. Up to date 67,600 bales were catalogued at the wool sales, of which only 3000 have not been sold. Tallow—Medium mutton 255, do beef 245. London, June 24. The vermin in the hop gardens is decreasing, and the prospects of good yields are improving. Mr F. O. Licht, expert, in his preliminary estimate, says that Hunning campaigne been surplus of 283,000 tons, and the production of hope in Europe for the past nine months shows an increase of 192,000 tons.
