MAORI FOOTBALLERS.
[PBJCSB ASSOCIATION CTLTOIUM.] WELLINGTON, June 25. At a meeting of the Rugby Union to-night a letter from the manager of the Native team was read, in which it was stated the team had engagements in Queensland until the first week in July, and would arrived in New Zealand about 10th August. Invercargill will probably be the scene of the first match in the colony. The local Union decided to offer the Nativee 50 per cent, of the gross gate money, and also will endeavor to procure the Basin Reserve for the match.
