]PKEBS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.] AUCKLAND, June 19. It is stated that several other flax mills are in course of erection in the Raglan district. One hundred tons of tow have been shipped home as an experiment. The bankruptcy business in Auckland has not been bo quiet for the past four years as it is at present. Amongst the paasengera by the Wairarapa from Sydney was Mr Julian Thomas, •well known under the non de plume of " The Vagabond." He is on his way to Samoa to secure material for a series of articles for a Melbourne paper.
Whilst the Alameda was in port a number of electric lamp globes for use on that vessel were purchased in Auckland, and so satisfactorily was the order filled that another has been given. Dr. McGregor, of St. Cuthberta., Edinburgh, who is en route to' Melbourne as a delegate at the coming celebration of the Jubilee of Presbyterianism, addressed a meeting at the City Hall to-night. Admiral Fairfax has notified Mr McNiccol, Chairman of the Harbor Board,, that H.M.S. Orlando will arrive in Auckland about the 10th or 11th July, in order to be docked here.
It' is supposed that T. L. White, for whose arrest a warrant was issued recently, has left the colony, and it is said that no further action will.be taken in the case.
News by the Southern Cross says that Weaver, supercargo of the schooner Colonist, who is charged with the murder of Captain Greenless, is still in Sava awaiting his trial, which is to be held when Sir J. B. Thurston returns from Samoa.
J. N. Franklin, driver of the wagon with which a railway train collided at Ellerelie. on Saturday, was charged at the Police I Court to-day with crossing the line" when the train was within a quarter of a mile. The case was remanded until Tuesday. NAPIEB, June 19.
The body of a man named John Brough has been found in the inner harbor. Tne. deceased was "boots" at the Terminus, Hotel. There are no marks of.violence.* His watch had stopped at ten minutes to seven. The body was not long in the water.

The evidence at the inquest on Capt. Swede showed he was a very hearty eater, and on the night.of his death had consumed a large quantity of salt meat. BLENHEIif, June 19.
Henry Hambling was charged with embezzling £i 3s, at Picton, from the Equitable Life Insurance, U.S.A. He had received JB7 43 for them, and retained a portion. Mr Bogers, prosecuting attorney, applied for a remand till Tuesday next. This was granted. ■- DTTNEDDT, June 19.
It is understood the Customs authorities are now working up cases against two of the largest breweries on a charge of defrauding the revenue. The weather changed early this morning, and rain fell during the day. Robert Mathews was killed yesterday at Romahapa through an engine falling on him.
