[ m nui association, j Received June 19th, noon. Lostmjn, June 18. At the -wool auction to-day 12,000 bales were catalogued, two-thirds being from New South Wales and New Zealand. There was a full attendance and brisk competition. Good merinos and fine crossbreds realised id above the closing rates of May " series; medium and inferior merino and coarse crossbreds are unchanged. Sydney, June 19. Wheat—Chick feed, 3s 3d to 3s 8d; New Zealand milling, 4a to 4a 4d. Flour—New Zealand stone made, £10 103; roller made, £id 15s to £11 ss. Oats nominal, 3s Id to 3s 2d, the market is very quiet; maize is declining, 3s to 3s 2d; barley, Cape, 3s; English, 4s 6d, nominal; bran, New Zealand, Is; pollard is dull at Is Id to Is l|d; Blue Prussian peas, of inferior quality, 3s 9d; best sorts, 4s 3d ; chaff, New Zealaud, £6 to £6 10s; potatoes, New Zealaud, £4 to £4 5a ; Circular Heads, £1 10s to £5; onions, New Zealand, £20; Victorian, £19. The butter market is glutted; New Zealand, 7d to Is. The cheese market is also glutted ; New Zealand made is quoted at 6d to 8d; bacon, 8d to 9d; hams, New Zealand cured, Is. Melboxjbnb, June 19. Wheat, prime, 5s 6d, market dull; oats, stout, 4s 3£d, market easier; maize. 4s; barley, seed, 4s j bran, Iβ 3d. The sugar market is strong and excited. Best China whites, £36. Adelaide, June 19. The wheat market is inactive; farmers' parcels at Port Adelaide 4a 9d, shipping 4s 10d, nominal. Flour, stone makes £10 15s to £11, roller makes £11 15s to £12. Bran Is. Pollard Is Id to Is 2d.
Brisbane, June 19. The sugar market is very excited; best China whites £30. Received June 19th, 10.30 p.m. London, June 18. New Zealand cheese is quoted at 45i per cwt. New Zealand mutton is scarce. There was' a large attendance at the opening of the wool sales. Merinos are in good demand. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from London, dated 18th June:— Wool—The sales opened this day at the level of last sales, except for good greasy and ecoured merino wools, for which the market is firmer. The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is good, and competition isfairly active. The sales comprise about 320,000 bales j 82,000 bales have been sent to the manufacturing districts, direct. Leather—Market quiet. Best sides are worth 9£d per lb.
New Zealand Hemp—The market is drooping. Medium is worth £30 10s per ton.
Frozen Meat—Mutton market firm. Beef unchanged. Wellington and Canterbury mutton is worth 6d and 6£d per lb respectively ; Canterbury lamb is worth 7£d per lb.
