The Inspectors hive now returned to the various districts in whioh they will, under the new arrangement, be located. j With reference to the Mayoralty elco I tion and the opinions of the lawyers, Messrs Skerrett and Izard, that Mr Macdonald, as leasehold jr under the Harbor Board, was disqualified from taking a scat on the Harbor Board if elected Mayor, three other lawyers have given -written opinions that no such disqualification attaches to leaseholding members, unless the leases were entered into subsequently to election.
