PARNELL AND THE TIMES.
fPER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received October 4th, 10.30 p.m. London, October 3. It is reported that the proprietor of The Times objects to incur the double expense of appearing fully before The Times Commission, and fighting the action brought against tbe proprietor and publisher by Parnell iv the Court of Se&aiou, Edinburgh, and will, therefore, reserve most of the witnesses for the defence in the libel action, tendering sufficient evidence only to the Commission to compel Parnell to disclose his hand. Received October sth, _15 »J—. London, October 4. The Pali Mall Gazette states that Parnell has unearthed the forger of the letters said to have been written by him, and that the evidence to be adduced at the coming trial in Edinburghwfll leave no doubt as to the letters being forg-ries. Sympathisers 1 with Mr Parnell are jubilant at at this news.
