OTAGO v SOUTHLAND.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM] INVERCARGILL, September 15. The weather for the interprovincial football match, Otago v Southland, was glorious, but a trifle too warm for the fame. A puffy .north-wester was also lowing athwart, the grounds. The match was looked upon as a sure thing for the visitors, and 5 to 1 was offered on Otago. Neither scored, but Southland had decidedly the best of the game, Otago being forced down ten times to the local team's three.
