SHIPPING CASUALTIES IN NEW ZEA-LAND-APRIL, 1887, TO MARCH, 1888.

The shipping casualties on the coast of the colony, for the last year numbered 54, representing tonnage amounting to 16,420 tons, as against GO casualties, affecting 11,417 tons in the previous year.
