Canon Fleming, of York, is a candidate for the Bishopric of Chester, vacant by the translation of Dr. Stubba to the see of Oxford. Received August 31st, 10.30 p.m. London, August 30. It is considered possible that Dr. Barry, Bishop of Sydney, will be appointed to the See of Chester.
