CASUALTIES THROUGH HEAVY WEATHER. [pee press association.] Received July 21st, 1 p.m. Sydney, July 21. Arrived—Barques Loongana, from Mongonui; Hose M., from Mercury Bay. Beeeived July 22nd, 10.30 a.m.
London, July 20. The barque Eisinuio, bound from Port Pirie to the Channel Islands, met with exceptionally heavy weather, and bad to put into Cape of Good Hope, the vessel and cargo having received considerable damage.
The barque Red Gauntlet, bound to same place, also met with bad weather, and had to put into St. Helena to repair damages. A portion of her cargo was jettisoned.
Received July 23rd. 1.50 a.m. Sydney, July 22. Arrived —Wakatipu, from Wellington. Sir Wm. Jervois is a passenger.
