Teitcka School Committee. — The monthly meeting of the Temulca School Committee took place on Tuesday evening. Present —Messrs J. T. M. Hayhurst (chairman), J. Blyth, J. Winning, K. P. Gray, E. Brown and A. E. Allan. The principal business wiis the consideration of letters from the Education Board re the staff. The Board declined to confirm the appointment of Miss Wills as pupil teacher, the average attendance not justifying it. Miss Sweet, the second pupil teacher, would only be entitled to halfpay. Miss Mills would receive pay fro n the time she was appointed until the date at which it was notified that the school was not entitled to her services. The Committee were of opinion that it would be better for Alias Wills to discontinue teaching, as .at present there seemed no prospect of her being paid.
