Paul Deroulede, Chairman of fhe Patriotic League, threatens to" invade the Palais d'Elysee with 50,000 followers if M. Terry is elected President. Received Decomber Ist, 5 p.m. London, November 29. In Paris, an excited section of Radicals, headed by M.* Henri Rochefort, prefer M. Grevy to M. Ferry as President. M. Gr.vy's farewell message is couched in dignified language, without bitterness. He complains of the desertion of friends.
