TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —Mr Twomey, the 5 per cent, candidate for Gladstone, said at Hilton, in reply to an eltctor, that he only received the letter of "Coid Tea." just be/ore starting for Mackenzie Country, and that he had not time to consider it. Mr Twomey received the letter on the 17th August, and left Temuka for Mackenzie Country on the 23rd August, six days after. Now. what is Twomey ?
