The basement and the three npper rooms will be warmed with a hot water apparatus, the contract for the supply of which is let to Messrs Hement Broe. of this city, the work being carried «at from designs pared by Mr A. H. Hart. The whole building will be of brick on substantial concrete foundations, and will be erected from the plans drawn by Messrs Colline and F" , ™" l , the architects, and under their supervision. This addition, it is hoped, will enable the management of the Pbhs Company to cope with the increased and increasing demand for all the papers published by them. The proofs which have been received of the growing popolirity of these journals have been very gratifying, especially in the case of the Wxxkly Pbxsb, which it is not too much to say is now generally regarded as the leadisg weekly newspaper of agriculture, pporting, and general news published in New Zealand.
