[Per b.b. Waihora at the Bluff 1 ["Aoe " Specials.] LONDON, July 1. Mr J. Brieht met his constituents for the purpose of returning thankß for his election, and was received with a perfect ovation. In the course of an addieas which he delivered, he denounced Mr Gladstone for his want cf candor in concealing his opinions on the question of Home Bule from tbe members of his party until the measure was actually introduced , in the House of Commonß. Jnly 2. A number of the Australian" colonists now visiting Etgland are subscribing funds for the purpose of restoring a portion of the chufch at Stratford-upon-Avon, which contains the bust of Shakespeare as well as the tomb of the poet and those of his wife and daughters. The opposition of Mr John Bright to the Home Kul*> policy ef Mr Gladstone has seriously damageu the latter in connection with the present election campaign.
