Captain La Cascade has been appointed Governor of Tahiti, and Captain A. Le Benoher, Governor of New Caledonia, has bees removed to Guadeloupe. A COURAGEOUS COLONIST. Nelson, the New South Wales oarsmas, will probably receive the Royal Humane Society's medal for courageously saving a boy from drowning.
