"The Customs duties collected at Christ--■ohurch on Thursday. June 10th, were as follows :—Spirits, -2230 16s 4d; tobacco, _12_9s6d; cigars, £SS 17s ifd; wine, £6; beer, £6 ss; sugar, £79 1— lid; tea, £46 3s —I; goods by weight, -211 16s 3d; ad valorem,—39s. Total, —5631259 d. Since the publication of our report in Wednesday's Summary for the San Fran■cisce mail no alteration has taken place in the import markets. From present appearances business is likely to continue quiet until the end of the month. The market ■continues bare of a number of lines, and the arrival of the Beiington is anxiously looked for, as she has large shipments on board. A good enquiry exists for rum about 10 o.p. With this, exception the demand for spirits continues limited for this aeason of the year. Bottled stout and Old Tom.is wanted for immediate delivery. Canales are running low in stock, and find ready purchasers at rates. Currants and muscatels also are inquired for. Sugars continue to be pushed off at rates favoring buyers. There are no transactions to note in heavy goods, such as salt, soda crystals and whiting. Stocks of arsenic held by importers are hardly sufficient for the great demand there has been this aeason.
