frffln Archibald McNae to Thomas Dodd w& granted, the house to be put in a complete state of repair immediately. The transfer from Michael Flanagan to George R. Willis of the Railway Hotel was granted, the Ucensee to procure better fire escapes. The transfer of Ucense from one Bite to another was granted to Michael Flanagan on Mr Martin's appUcation, the Ucense to remain in the Clerk's hands until the poUce inspector reported the new building as complete and in a fit state to be occupied. Mr Martin appeared for Jas. Shield, of the Bluff Hotel, Coalgote. The police complained of a want of accommodation, and said certain repairs and painting was required. The Bench pointed out that the licensee had recently been fined £5 for Sunday grog-selling, and advised better supervision and necessary repairs to be properly carried out before the next an-nnal meeting. The police reports on the conduct of the houses was generaUy satisfactory. The Committee adjourned until December.
