The National Shipwreck Society ha* granted £327 to the widow of Captaiie Mann, drowned in the steamer New Eng-E land. The Society has also decided to| present Mr Lemaire, Chief Engineer of the \ New England, and the crew of the* schooner C. Walker with gold medals inj recognition of their bravery.
