TICKETS issued between Statione within the Provincial District of Canterbury, on 15th, 16th, or 17th December, will be available for return np to ard including the 19th. On the 16th the evening traine will leave Chrietchuroh for Sonthbridge at 5.5 p.m.; for South at 5.20 p.m., and for Amberley at 5.50 p.m. And the following other alterations in time table will be made :— The evening trains, Rolleiton to Springfield, Darfield to Whitecliffs, and Rakaia to Msthven, will each start 55 minutes later than usual. There will be a morning and evening service on the Eangiora-Oxford branch at the usual times, except that the evening train Bangiora to Oxford, will not leave until 7.15 p.m. The train which usually leaves Oxford for Kaiapoi at 3.30 p.m., will leave at 4.20 p.m., and return from Kaiapoi at 6.45 p.m., instead of at 5.55 p.m. The morning trains on Kaiapoi-Oxford branch will run same as on Saturdays. The trains which start later than usual will in each case be correspondingly later than usual at each station to destination. Lyttelton Line.—Ordinary Trains; a late train leaving Christchurcb for Lyttelton at 11.15 p.m., returning at 11.45 p.m., and such extra trains during the day as may be required. No goods traffic.
