Fbetjtbb'b tslegbams.] MBLBOTTRNE, Kovember 25. It is now stated definitely that Mr W. M. K. Vale, who was a member of the last Berry Ministry, does not intend, as was previously reported, to proceed to New Zealand to practice at the bar in that colony. A report has reached Melbourne today that a volcanic outbreak has occurred in the vicinity of Snug River, twenty miles from Hobart, and that there has been a tremendous landslip, with various openings, over an area of two miles. Telegrams from Hobart report that there is. great excitement there owing to this report, which, however, requires confirmation. ADELAIDE, November 25. Wheat per bushel, ss; new season's crop is now quoted for delivery in December at 4s 6d. Town flour has declined 2s 6d ! per ton during the past week, and is now quoted at £11 17s; country brands have fallen to £10 17s 6d.
