Part of _tr cargo is for Xyttelton, for which port she will ssil when the Wellington cargo is out. The Peri, froxa London, is signalled at the Heada. The VT-Jtatipn sails South, to-morrow at 2 p.m. It is said that several changes are about to take place in the command of the Union Steamship Company's vessels, consequent on the departure of Cai3—vin 'Underwood, lately of the Axawata, for E-giaaid, to hri_s out the Eotomahana. Captain Carey, who sow has the Eotoma, was offered the Arawata, hut, as he has just settled his family in Sydney, so a.■ to enit his present trade, he declined the offer. Cap—in Si-tcl-ir, of tha Tararoa, has, therefore, been promoted to the Arawata, Captain Muir, of the Claud Hamilton, succeeding to the c__rge of the Tararaa, and Mr Newman, chief of the Arawata, promoted to the command of the Cl__d Hamilton B-tmr, April 28. Arrive-—The Arawata with tfce Suez m_U, She sails at 5 p.m. She left Ho-son's Bay at 2 p.m. on the 23rd, clearing the Heads at 5 p.m.; made Swan Island at 11 a.n_ next day; had northerly winds and fine weather daring the passage; passed the SoUnders at 1 p.m. on the -7th. Passengers— Messrs I_—lderson, Ki-grford. Petrie. Hi—house; Mr a_d Mrs Harper a-d family (S) _tr and Mrs Frere; 19 Bteerage.-xtd 35 tons of cargo.
