Messrs Bobxst Wiuax ft Co. report under date Christchnrch, 21th. April:— Sheepskins.—At our sale to-day, 2913 skins were catalogued and all aold. There waa a fair attendance of buyers, and the prices were firm, aa follows tr-Crossbred, large, 2s 3d to 2slod aach; do medium. Is lOd to 2s 3d each; da, small and inferior, la to la lOd each; merino, large, 3s to 4a each; do, medium, 2s 2d to 3a each; do, small and inferior, Is 3d to Ss 2d each; lambskins, Is 6dto Ss 8d each; pelts;ld to la each. Tallow—A fair quantity was catalogued, with a fair attendance of buyers, and prices firm and even; best clean well saved l{d to 2|d per lb; second quality, lfd to ljd per lb; inferior and heated, lid to lfd per lb. Hides, salted, Sid per lb : damaged, 2frd per lb: calfskins, —1 per lb; «ut ana damaged half price. Misses M-tson , Bess ass Co. held a large sale of horses at £_agiora yesterday. The several lotwere quoted at satisfactory prices, taking into account the present small demand.
