Timaeit, September 13. Tqere is little business doing in the grain market, and prices generally remain unaltered. Oat* are still hardening, aud will probably coutinne to do so till the new crop comes ia; 4s to 4s 3d is the quotatatitm. To-day wheat was stagnant at 3s 10d; prime malting barley in good demaud at 4e 3d. The weather i 3 very favorable for tbe young orons. .. The following telegram, dated 11th September, wits received yesterday from London by the New Zenjaud Loan and Mercantile Agency Company;—
Wool —Competition is decreasing. The market is weaker, the priuciple desline being ia cross-bred medium and inferior greasy. The scoured market is easier. Seedy and bnrry wools are neglected. Th re is a moderate demand, on German account, but French demand and trade in the manufacturing districts is dull. Up to date 144,000 bales have been sold.
Tallow.—Thereia a fair trade demand. Tie supplies of town melted are light. Stocks of all sorts are 24.500 cisks. Mutton is worth 38a 6d, and beef 37e per cwt. Wheit— Market flat. Adelaide is worth 50s, and New Zealand 49s per 4961b5. _^
