The Customs duties collected here on Saturday, September 7th, amounted to £310 9s lid. The items were:—Wines, £17 2s; spirits, £54 7s 3d; tea, ilO; roods by weight, £1 5s 4d ; ; ad -valorem, £3&L 16s ; Other duties, £42 19s 4d. At the sittings of the Waste lands Board on Monday, September 9th, 3153 acres were disposed of, realieinß £6306. The land is situated as under:— AaniEsy, SOS acres; Selwyn, 345* acres; Akaroa, 109 acres ; Ashbnrton, 558 acresJGeraldiue, 1348 acres; Waiswte, 7acres; Vincent, 80acres.
