J.P.'B.J Desertion. — Herbert Blackbound waa brought up charged by Captain Mitchell, master of the chip Langstone, with this offence. The Bench sentenced accused to twelve weeke' imprisonment, with hard labor. . . . _
Drunkenness—Thomas Evans, arrested by constable Devine, charged with this offence, was dismissed with a caution.
Wednesday, December 29. (Before W. Donald, Eeq, 8.M.) Refusal op Duty.—Charles Richardson, charged with refusal of duty on the barque Ansdell, was, after a severe caution by the Bench, ordered to be sent on board.
Absent prom his Ship.—Thomas Williams, steward of brig Rio Logic, charged with being absent from hie ship, was reprimanded by his Worship, and ordered to be sent on board.
