These sports were held on Thursday last (Anniversary Das), and attracted over three hundred people. They were commenced very punctually, and were more successful than any sports held before in this district. The committee had nearly double the money to dispose of. The sports commenced at 1 p.m. sharp, but as there were twenty-four events, a few had to be omitted, though the different events were worked off with every possible dispatch.
