CORRESPONDENCE.

■ MR BLUETT AT THE RAKAIA, TO THE EIHTOB OF THE PRESS. Sib, —In the. Pbess of Mr Bluett'r election speech at the Bakaia he is made to say " that MrWason is put ;forward by the Bank of .Australasia," jand quotes name as hie authority for doing so. I am sony that a sense of duty to myself obligee mc to say that Mr Bluett's statement is ; entirely incorrect, and as I think Mi Bluett incapable of making an untruthful statement, I can only suppose the error springs from some misapprehension. I have therefore not the least doubt in the world that Mr Bluett will offer a satisfactory explanation to all parties ' There is however nothing more certain than, that Mr Wason is • neither put forward by the Bank; Of Austral asia nor by any-other Bank. l'_ ! Yours, &c, , : -. . . . W. WILSOH. . Chrißtchurch, Dec. 4th, 1875,
