CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday, June 8. (Before G. L. Hellish, Esq, E.M.) Civil Cases.—G. Wilson v F. W. Newman, claim £5 4s 10d ; judgment by default for amount claimed with costs 1 Sβ. M. Hamilton v B. Whitley, claim 2s ; judgment for amonnt claimed with costs 9s. The plaintiff directed that bis claim and costs should be given to the poor box ; and the defendant, in paying the judgment, tendered a £1 note, and requested that the change, 9s, should also be given to the poor box. M. Donoghue v W. Thomson and T. Whitfield, claim £2 10s ; Mr Thomas for plaintiff ; judgment for defendants with costs 13s. B. Clark v R Clark, claim £1 8s ; Mr Slater for plaintiff ; judgment for Hβ and costs £ 1 10s. A. Adams v M. Scrivener, claim £2 5s 10d ; judgment by default for amount claimed, with coets 9p
