Thubsday, Januaby 7. DRUNKENNESS. Jane Rhodes, arrested by Sergeant Magtrire, charged with this offence, was fined 10a, or forty-eight hours. Charles Allean, arrested by Detective Haddrill, charged with this offence, and with disorderly conduct on the railway wharf, was, after the evidence of H. McLellan, harbormaster, had been taken, fined 208, or ninety-six hours* imprisonment. The fine was paid. CIVIL CASES. Rogers t J. Grubb (president), and J. Tregear (treasurer of Lyttelton Industrial Co-operative Society), claim £13 6s 8d for wages as secretary. Mr Nalder appeared for the plaintiff. The evidence of the plaintiff and several witnesses were called for tbe defendant. After Mr Nalder had addressed the Bench for the plaintiff, judgment was given for the plaiutiff for £13 6s 8d and costs £1 2s, and professional fee £1 Is. Martin v McLean, master of Otago, claim £20 for value of luggage lost. Settled out of Court. Hollia and Williame v Drake, claim £4 5s 6d for cartage of timber, .fee., to a place that the defendant had intended to put a house upon, which he afterwards abandoned. Mr Nalder appeared for the plaintiffs. Judgment for amount claimed and 9s, and professional cost £1 Is. Nalder v Steward, claim £4 2s 10d ; judgment for plaintiff and costs 9s. Hickinbottom vJ. Weston, claim £2 9s 6d. settled out of Court. Andrews v J. Weston. claim £2 9s 6d; settled out of Court. Buist v J. Weston, claim £2; paid into Court. W. Evans v J. G. Holding, claim £3 ; judgment for £1 and costs 9s.
