The brig Wave, Captain McKehzie, arrived in harbor on Tuesday, and anchored at 4.30 4 j>aM The; captain, reports that ehe left Oamamat 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 15th, and proceeded to Timaru, wind being strong from the 8.W., and raining'Jieavily ; arrived at II pjn'.-, and anchored in a safe berth. Discharged 30 tons coals, original cargo, and took in 1600 sacks wheat, the sea being smooth, and the weather fine. Completed loading end left at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived oft the heads at 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Weather at that time was terrific, the ""wSfd blowing a strong gale, accompanied with squalls of eijow arid sleet. Was driven fifteen mileSoff the land,during the night.
On Sunday and Monday there was six inches of snow on the deck. Ban into Mclntosh and anchoredfor shelter. Left again at 8 a.m. oa Tuesday; arriving as above. The brig brings a cargo of wheat fox the s,s. AtrafcoV Aβ soon as she is discharged ehe is chartered for another,eargo.
