THE VOLUNTEERS.
FIRING FOR THE VINCENT MEDALS The firing for the last competition in connection with the Vincent medals, presented by that gentleman to the Christchurch Battery of Artillery, took place yesterday at the Heathcote range. As will be seen by the aggregate scores, Corporal Fox takes first prize, the gold medal; Sergeant Roberts the second prize, the silver medal with gold centre; and Gunner Kissel the third prize, the all-silver medal. The following tables show first the scores made yesterday, and second the aggregate scores of each competitor throughout the match :—
