Mails close at the Chief Post-Office as under :—
For the United Kingdom, Continent of fiurope, Asia, Africa, America, and the West Indies, via San Francisco, also the Sandwich Islands, per p.s. Nevada, on Saturday, July 8, at 8.45 a.m. . Newspapers at 8 a.m. Money orders and registered letters at 5 p.m., on Friday, July 7. For Northern Provinces of New Zealand, per p.s. Nevada, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, morning. Late letters for all the above places (bearing the usual late fee) can be posted till 9.30 aJB. on Saturday morning.
"For Otago, Southland, and Australian Colonies, per 8.8. Tararua, on Saturday, Bth instant, at 1.30 p.m. Mails close for Otogo and Southland per s.s. Wellington, at 11.15 a.m., on Tuesday, 11th instant.
