She left there on the 22nd and had light northerly winds till the 24tn, when encountered a strong southr east gale, with heavy sea, after which had westerly winds to the 28th, when again met a terrific gale.from the south west, and was obliged to heave too, the gale lasting for twelve hours. From thence to making Cook Straits, on the 4th instant, had westerly winds; from there to arrival light variable winds. The brig brings a cargo of coals. She will, on completing her discharge, load grain for Melbourne.
