Mr Charles Clark reports a very large attendance at his usual monthly auction of live and dead stock, held at Loe's hotel, Leeston, and the following prices were obtained:—Fat cattle, £12 10s to £14 5 store cows, £7 10s ; heifers. £6 to £8 10s. Firscciass draught stock—Yearlings, £15; two-I year olds, £25 to £30; three year olds, £30 to I ■ £50. Hacks not much in demand. Pigs, ; 12s 6d; cheese, B£d to lOd per lb, &o. i
