POST-OFFICE NOTICES.

j On and after Monday, October 7, mails for Timaru and the South road will close at this office at 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Riccarton mails will close daily at noon. On and after the Ist January, the Oxford and Moeraki Downs mails will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday, instead of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ; and for Hurunui at 8 a.m. every Monday, instead of Mondays and Wednesdays, as heretofore. Prebbleton—Mails wnl close at 11.15 a.m every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Cianricarde—Mails will close at 2.45 p.m. every Saturday. Mails for Addington will in future close at the Chief Post-office, Christchurch, at 10.30 a.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and for St. Albans at 9.15 am. on the same day. F. E.
