Mails per Phoebe for Dunedin and Invereargill will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11.15 a.m. on Friday, the 6th instant. Mails per Wellington for Wellington, Picton, Nelson, Tarn ;\ki, and Auckland will close at Christchurch at 8 a i, and at T.yttelton at 11.15 a.m. on Saturday, the '~ 'i in»M-:t. Mails per Lord for Otago, Southland, and Melbourne will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11.15 a.m. on Wednesday, the 11th instant. Mails per Eangatira for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday, the 12th instant. Mails per Airedale for England, India, the Australian colonies, the Mediterranean ports, Southland, and Otago will close at Christchurch at 7 a.m., and it Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on Monday, the 16th instant; and at Kaiapoi at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, the 14th instant. Money orders must be procured before 1 p.m., and letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. on Saturday, the 14th instant. Lato lettere for places beyond the colony by payment of an extra shilling stamp, and for places within the colony by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each, can be posted afc Chris tciiurch until 10 a.m., and at Lyttelton until 11.30 a.m. on Monday, the 16th instant. Mails per Phoebe for Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough, Taranaki, and Auckland will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the 17th instant. F. E.
