NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, rjIHAT on and after the first day of September JL 1863, the Inspector of Weights and Measures will be prepared to correct and stamp all weighing machines, beams and scales, weights and measures, now in use in the city of Christehurch, and that all such weighing machines, beams and scales, weights and measures, are required to be delivered at the Weights and Measures office, adjoining the Weighbridge office, Market-square, Christehurch, with the owner's name distinctly marked thereon, for the purpose of being corrected and stamped before the first day of October next, 1863, after which day the law will be enforced against all persons falling to comply with the ordinance.
