421,492 Motor Vehicles

Motor vehicle registrations in New Zealand at t June 30 reached a record of 421,492, said the Postmas-ter-General, Mr Broadfoot. This Was an increase of 29,106, or 7.42 per cent. This year’s record figures included 237,668 cars, an increase of 10.129; 161,975 commercial vehicles, an increase of 17,517; and 21.849 cycles, an increase of 1460.
