No Freight Increase There is to be no increase in the shipping freight rates for cargo carried on coastal vessels plying between Whakatane and Auckland. This was stated by a shipping office when the proposed increase of 10/a ton on freight shipped between Auckland and South Island east coast ports was referred to it yesterday. The increase to the south is to commence at the end of the month.
