CHANGES IN BAY OF PLENTY PACK There are only a couple of changes in the Bay of Plenty Rugby team selected to play Waikato at Tauranga on Saturday. These are in the forwards. The main change is the admittance of the fourth hooker tried this season. He is D. Werohia, Tauranga. The team, with abbreviations (Wh) Whakatane, (R) Rotorua, (T) Tauranga, (G) Galatea, (Rang) Rangitaiki, (O) Opotiki:—

BAY JUNIORS TO PLAY WAIKATO Six players from Whakatane have been chosen in the Bay of Plenty junior Rugby team to play Waikato at Tauranga on Saturday. In addition two backs have been selected as reserves. The team: — Fullback, N. Parkinson (O); three-quarters, M. Brown (Wh), C. Burrell (T), G. Abbot (O); fiveeighths, G. Moore (O), T. Hohapata (Wh); half back, S. Hakunga (R); back row, J. Chadwick (Wh); middle row, H. Roberts (R), A. Pryor (Wh), M. Langdon (Te P), R. Wilson (O); front row, R. Boynton (O), B. Tunui (Wh), T. Moeke (Wh). Reserves: Forwards, S. Hakaraia (R), Aitken (T); backs, A. Luxton (Wh), B. Simpson (Wh), R. Stead (R). Managers: Messrs L. Abbot (Opotiki) and C. Wells (Whakatane). BRACKEN AND WILSON CUP COMPETITIONS

Club Rugby will be resumed at Whakatane on Saturday when the senior teams will play off for the Bracken Cup, the juniors for the Wilson Cup, and third grades will hold a trial. In the senior round Ruatoki will both have byes on Saturday and this will enable the competition to be completed within three weeks. Similar arrangements have been made for the Wilson Cup. Paroa, winners of the Waitemata Cup competition, have drawn the senior bye but will be playing at Te Puke against Te Puke Old Boys in the Pile Cup competition. Seniors: Wairaka v Taneatua No. 2 at 2.30 p.m.; Poroporo v United No. 1 at 2.30 p.m.; byes Ruatoki and Paroa.

Juniors: .Taneatua v United No. 1 at 1.15 p.m.; Wairaka v Poroporo (friendly game) No. 2 at 1.15 p.m.; Paroa a bye. Third grade trial No. 1 at noon.
