A good entry of all classes of pigs came forward at the fortnightly pig sale held at Edgecumbe by the Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering -.Co. Bacon pork and large feeders Nvere in extra keen demand and sold at improved rates. Slips and weanv ers remained firm. Prices realis- — ed:—
Choppers, £6 15s to £8 10s; medium bacon, £7 3s to £7 13s; light bacon, £6 10s to £6 18s; heavy pork arid large feeders, £5 8s to £6; large store pigs, £4 13s to £5 2s; medium store pigs, £4 5s to £4 10s; slips and smaller stores, £3 12s to £4 18s; best weaners, £2 12s to £3 3s; other weaners, £2 5s to £2 8s; B/F hqggets to £2 4s 6d.
