H.S.A. To Ask For House Committee

A decision to ask Mr W. Sullivan M.P. to make urgent representations to the Minister in Charge of State Housing for the appointment of an allocation committee here was reached by the Eastern Bay of Plenty branch of the Home Servicemen’s Association last evening.

It was also decided to endeavour to organise a conference of delegates representative of the Borough and County Councils, all the Services Association’s, the Churches, Legion of Frontiersmen, Red Cross and all women’s organisations with the object of mobilising the Widest possible backing for the move.
