SEQUEL TO PARTY
FOUR MEN IN COURT
Charged with supplying liquor to a number of Maoris for convsumption off licensed premises, on March 23 last Wm. Marshall (Mr E. Armstrong) pleaded guilty before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Court
last Tuesday.
Counsel stated that the Maoris concerned had been desirous of farewelling one of their number Avho was leaving for camp and had approached Marshall to obtain the liquor for them for a party. He had agreed to do this in a Aveak
